A really inspiring day. I found out new ways of teaching old principles. I also welcomed the chance to interact with other delegates enabling us to come to a consensus about what we will be looking for from our students in order to achieve pass, merit or distinction.

SOME COMMENTS FROM THE DELEGATES:
‘Another exciting and innovative day for improving BTEC delivery’ ‘Great ideas to inspire young people and engage them actively in BTEC’ ‘Well thought out (but dynamic) ideas delivered at the right level’ ‘Just excellent’ ‘highly focused, hands on try out of imaginative assignment ideas. ‘Excellent day’
DELEGATES IDENTIFIED FUTURE INSET NEEDS:
More KS3 teaching in science. Inset for non specialist would be useful Physics for double award/triple award GCSE physics (P1,P2,P3) New spec GCSE
