Dr Jenny Watson – Assistant Director of Learning – 31st August 2011

Hello, I’m Jenny Watson – the newest starter at the Physics Factory in Birmingham.

I did a PhD on Low-temperature High-magnetic field Semiconductors in Oxford University, followed by a post doc in Belgium. Since then I’ve been working, firstly in IT. Following this I have been a Secondary Science teacher for three years.

I am really excited about my new role at the Physics Factory, where I shall be producing electronic and physical resources and helping deliver CPD and topic-focussed Physics teaching to students from Birmingham schools and further afield.
