Another fab day, sorry that it is the last day. The whole course has improved my understanding of Physics so much I wonder what I did understand before the course began. Delegate

100% of delegates said they thought the course was either ‘good or very good’ with 92% saying it was ‘very good’
SOME COMMENTS FROM THE DELEGATES:
‘I have found out stuff about space I had never heard of which is fab!’ ‘Please do keep me informed of any future courses, I would love to come to help or attend.’ ‘A brilliant end to a fantastic two weeks. I understand earth and space quite well but today has given me more depth to my knowledge and the ability to teach others about it. The model on the field with the inflatable planets was fantastic.’ ‘Another fab day, sorry that it is the last day. The whole course has improved my understanding of Physics so much I wonder what I did understand before the course began. Well done Physics Factory! Hope to return in the future for further CPD or with a class.’ ‘I really loved going outside doing the role play with the models. A great idea for kids to get engaged. The Physics Factory has refreshed my knowledge and taught me useful teaching methods. I feel much more confident.’ ‘Today was the most engaging lesson! Lots of modeling to increase understanding and many, many interesting facts. I now know that teaching the solar system can be fun and interactive.’ ‘Excellent two weeks. Definitely increased my confidence about Physics and teaching.’ ‘The lecturers, Phil and Neil are so passionate about Physics; they make it enjoyable, fun and understandable. I know understand how the planets move relative to each other. The practical experiment showed this really well.’ ‘The topics I once found boring and difficult have been re-explained and the many practicals and activities have helped to improve my understanding and trigger an interest I didn’t have before in some Physics topics.’ ‘Physics when made relevant to everyday life is really interesting.’
Taking the inflatable planets outside today and spinning around like idiots was great fun and is definately more memorable than learning about it from a diagram or video.
