Physics Foundations Day 4 – Electricity and Magnetism (Tuesday 29th May 2012)

The British School of Brussels – SciChem/Physics Factory training course – Friday 25th May 2012

On Thursday 24th May the Physics Factory delivered three Year 7/8 Forces and Motion masterclasses. The lessons were great fun with all students demonstrating great passion and enthusiasm for Physics. On Friday 25th we delivered a KS3 training event to thirteen delegates from schools from France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Holland. 100% of delegates said the course was very good with many delegates asking ‘when is the next course!’.

95% of students said, “they enjoyed the sessions”.
88% of students said, “the Physics Factory helped solve some of their misconceptions”.
88% of students said, “they felt they would do better in their exams because of the Physics Factory”.
88% of students said, “they felt more confident because of the Physics Factory”.

Blessed Robert Sutton (Burton-on-Trent) – AQA P2 Revision Day – Friday 12th May 2012

Today a wonderful group of Year 11 students visited us for the first time from Blessed Robert Sutton Catholic Sports College. The students were taught about forces and motion in a very fun and interactive way.

95% of students said they enjoyed their Physics Factory lesson very much.
84% of students said they felt they had learnt a lot during their Physics Factory lesson.
100% of students said they would like to come again!

Bartley Green – EDEXCEL grades – 11th May 2012

EDEXCEL P2 Structured (10%) and P2 Multiple Choice (10%) – calculated out of a total of 34 individual student grades
A*/A = 56% (19/34)
A* – C = 100% (34/34)
EDEXCEL P2 IAA/Coursework (10%) – calculated out of a total of 17 individual student grades

Alcester Grammar School – AS & A2 Revision Day – Wednesday 9th May 2012

Today the Physics Factory visited Alcester Grammar School to deliver AS and A2 revision sessions to over 100 A Level students.
